I strive to ship out orders within 1-3 business days (many times, it is next day).

Weather and holidays can sometimes impact processing time.

What is "Rescued Vintage"?

Sometimes an old vintage necklace strand breaks, or a clasp needs replacing. If I can, I will do a simple repair, without changing the original design of the piece.

Sometimes, a vintage choker is way too short, and may need the addition of spacer beads. Or earrings may need replacement clips, for example, to make them wearable. I will state any changes I make, within the listing.

Other Information

Photography

I take all product photos myself and write all of my own descriptions.

I am not a professional photographer. I do the best I can with my phone camera.

Remember that color can appear to change, in different lighting situations, and against different backgrounds.

Listing photos are of the actual item you will receive and are part of your description.

Examine photos before you buy--some are magnified, to show detail.

Vintage and Preowned/Used Jewelry

Vintage or used jewelry is not new--it is preowned, pre-loved, pre-worn.

Please do not expect vintage or used items to be perfect. Some jewelry is decades old.

I choose pieces, which I feel are functional (in good working order) first, but always fun, interesting, and/or classic and timeless.

Condition is subjective. I am not an expert. To me, the jewelry I sell is functional, lovely and wearable, as shown, even with age expected surface wear.

Please view all photos, read the descriptions, and note the measurements given, to avoid disappointment. Photos are magnified to show detail.

I only gently clean the jewelry, as I wish to do no harm to the surface of vintage pieces. You may wish to do further cleaning of your own.

I do not use the terms "perfect", "mint", "rare", or "collectable", etc., to describe condition. Condition is in the eye of the beholder.

My Handmade Jewelry

I make jewelry using a combination of new beads and parts from my collection of vintage components, from old necklaces and jewelry that is beyond repair.

Combining old and new parts, gives me endless inspiration, and design possibilities.  I love to combine color and shapes!

Some of my pieces are made of entirely new parts, and some combine new and old (vintage) parts.

I make every piece myself and I almost never make the same piece twice.

Jewelry is not intended for children.

The jewelry I sell, is for adults--it is not intended for children.
